Not this one, is DTLA. You could pay for parking, or take the metro to Figueroa and 7th. Go for the downtown experience, pick up some buds, then goto The Last Bookstore, it's very cool, and get some tacos at Guisados, all within walking distance.

After 5pm, there is always plenty of parking.
