As far as I've seen you only need a mask on when you go inside any of the buildings, bathrooms included, but other than that I've seen a lot of people who don't wear them when walking around outside of buildings.
I was just there on Thursday, 9/24 and masks were only REQUIRED inside buildings and RECOMMENDED if you're in a crowded exhibit.
They recommend masks in crowded areas outside where you can't maintain 6ft social distancing and then absolutely require them for any of the indoor exhibits. When we went, it wasn't overly crowded so we got to pull ours down for about 75% of the time.
You should not go back to Narnia
I was v there today, and the zoo does say to ware a mask of going inside, or cannot maintain 6 feet distance. For the most part people were very good, and the majority wore masks all the time.
I was there last Saturday. Inside definitely. Outside no as long as you can socially distance. If your getting food, expect to spend half your day in line! We gave up
