Yes trees all through out the zoo. You will also have gift shops and places to eat that are inside and exhibits that are inside with hudge fans going.

Yes there are benches throughout the zoo. Not all are shady but many are. There are also places you can go inside. I have also seen misters that spray water that you can walk under on really hot days
