It is very upsetting when your animal needs medical attention and you are told that the vet only takes on new puppies or kittens! Where is the compassion??? If I could I would file a formal complaint against this veterinarian. vet

I feel like there's a bit more to this story you're leaving out 😆 you're going to have a very hard time turning the locals against Dr Inkley. He's great and everyone knows it

I never had an issue with them telling me they couldnt take on my pets. I have an almost 2 year old German Shepherd. Her first visit she was over 1 and it was an emergency visit because she had cut off part of her upper pad. He had me bring her out around 6pm performed surgery and I picked her up the next day. I absolutely love this vet. They have always been very helpful to me and my fur babies.

I'm self employed, and I'd just like to say that people would prefer I'm honest and tell them I'm too busy to take on any new business instead of overloading myself and my staff, which leads to rushing through jobs to stay caught up, and probably not giving the best quality of work possible. These guys used to have days with open walk-ins, and it was probably a nightmare for them. It was PACKED -- vehicles up and down both sides of their VERY long driveway. Glad it's by appointment only now. If you have an emergency, call one of the 24/7 places (and be prepared to pay dearly). I'm sorry you can't get an appointment with them, but it is what it is, and you'll have to take your business elsewhere I guess. Not sure there is a need to file a complaint over it. Good luck to you and your pet(s)!
