No but sometimes it would be nice to be able to get reservations so you don't have to wait forever. We just sit at the bar and socialize; so it's no big deal.

Nope you don't need reservations, but they do get extremely busy. Either plan accordingly, or download the app. Either way, it's worth the wait.
On the weekends
No but it does get busy on the weekends. Download the no wait app so you can get in line before your arrive. The longest i have waited for a table is 45 minutes get a drink from the bar and talk to who ever you are with.
