According to the rules and laws, EBT cannot be used to purchase hot meals of any kind. Anyone or business that does so, stands in violation, and therefore could lose their license to accept it.
I must agree with the others it's not allowed to use use your EBT for hot food.

I believe not. I usually buy cold cuts and non parishable food items and never have seen or heard anyone ordering hot sandwiches with an EBT card. However, you are welcomed to try on your own. I very much doubt you will get anything hot from the deli anyway. God bless!
