Hey! My kids want to find some fossils and I here this might be a good place to find some crab fossils. Can a mini van get down that road? What should my kids look for when we get there, typical oval concretions? Thanks! Dan

Absolutely! MiniVan friendly even though it's mostly gravel... And plenty of fossils to be found! Watch for Agates too!!! Fyi: Discovery Pass required for parking

Lots of neat clam fossils. Its a bumby little road but its short.

You're most likely to find chalcedony/agatized tube worm and snail shell fossils. Usually clear to white-ish colored. Your van should make the drive just fine. There are a couple big dips you might want to take at an angle though.
