What time does Walmart quit cashing checks & will they cash an insurance settlement check?

The local walmart whwre I'm from stops cashing checks at 10 when customer service closes but with ins checks I'm not sure most places that aren't banks want to hold the check for a while to make sure it clears b4 they cash it according to the amount that it is. I was assuming it was more than a payday would be so in that case there's a period of time they will hold it
