It is not the same owner. Pho U & Mi is owned by the nephew of the owner of Yen's Vietnamese Sandwiches in South Charleston. Alex is his name. As far as the logic behind going in next to another Pho place? The only thing I can come up with is how most Asian business owners like to locate their businesses near other Asian businesses. I.E. South Charleston having 6 Asian businesses within a single city block, New York City having a little China, etc. You can always ask Alex, the owner of Pho U & Mi why he chose the location. He's a good dude. My girlfriend and I were proud to give him his first dollar.
