Best too start with newer wifi router
Hi 1thirdstone1, Many people find themselves having the same problem.. Takes a little bit of legwork to correct..1st I Would start by contacting your Internet provider to make sure you have the most updated Wi-Fi router that they are using... many times these components Upgraded every 6 to 12 months.. the old ones will still work but they just won't be as fast.. Secondly you wanna check all the connections in your lines .. going into your house and any splitters.. Assure that they are clean, dry and snugly tight.. At this point if you're still suffering from a slow service you're going to have to contact ur service provider company.. Request that come out and test the line resistance to assure there's not a malfunction of the outside Pole where the service comes in. Once this test is complete u can request a booster from the company. U may be able to rent one, as opposed to having to buy 1. would not recommend a large $ purchase now. 5k rolling out soon..will need another upgrade
A better wifi router than what you have or possibly a higher s Data speed from your provider
