What year did this safeway open

This store opened in the mid 90s

Yes it was Early 80s i don't remember because it was here before i moved to the se areas.All three stores plus a sears cross the streets.yes the present safeway is on the old sears store site.

There used to be both a Giant and Safeway across the street on the now LONG vacant 'Skyland' site (and a Murray's Steak). The present Safeway is on the old Sears store site.

I believe the early 90's
