I would say 3 to 4 hours. But its very individual. It is a pleasant day out, nice gentle walk. If you run around tyring to see every piece it is a day ruined. Remax, enjoy, come back more than once!
We spent about 3hrs with children and covered 40% of the area. You can cover it in 4hrs if you can walk that much. It is worth walking to see all sculptures.
We spent 5 hours there including lunch. Time goes quickly.
I agree with Barbara's comments. We spent a little over 2 hours, but would have stayed longer without the kids. They started to get a bit antsy and were hungry. Also, like she said you can always return another time. They do offer different membership packages where you visit an unlimited amount of times for the year
I agree with Barbara, it sits on nearly 50 acres and you'll have to go through trails, slight up hills, lake / steam side and through wooded areas. You'll not be disappointed. Make sure you have a snack pack and plenty of water. They have at least 2 indoor buildings with exhibitions that change after a period of time. You are given a hand held map so you can plan out how you would like to tackle the grounds.
