Are there picnic tables available out side the grounds For those who bring a picnic? I understand you cannot bring food onto the grounds. And, is there a covered pavillion of sorts for days that may rain.

There are some metal tables, but no shade. No picnic tables. The theater and some exhibitions are inside buildings. Restaurant has and indoor table area.

You cannot picnic but there is a cafeteria with tables inside and outside. The main entrance building provides shelter but almost all of the grounds are outside in the open. It's not a great place to visit on a rainy day.

Yes. There is a cafe im sure u can purchase food and eat wherever many nooks all over

No picnic tables that I remember seeing outside. There is a nice cafe and snack bar in park.
