My son drove his own and he's in kindergarten. And he's less than 40 lbs.
Pretty sure the guy told us 5. But these karts are not for little ones, 65 mph in straight aways. Bike tracks i saw lil ones on thier 50s. By far the best and fastest karts ive driven. LOTS OF FUN!
