Are these hours of operation for real?! And really, closed on Saturdays and Sundays??! For example, are any food vendors open if I want to eat before I see a movie at 9:25pm on a Sunday??

I don't know.which hours you are referring to. But all of the food places are open on the weekends. U can get a meal before the movies. Also, downtown Alexandria is not far away. You can always go there to get food before the show. Just scope around. Many food places are.close by.

There are many restaurants there including a Mexican restaurant, a Thai restaurant & Ted's Montana Grill.
