Bellaire lake is open year-round for fishing, but the Gates are locked from about early October to May of the following year. That presents you with about a two-mile hike from County Road 69 to the lake. The gates were unlocked May 24th this year for the season.
It's open year-round, but you will want to wait for the ice to melt off.
