My family came back to jersey to visit and this place was in the middle of transitioning and it was awful. I booked us to stay first 6 days but left 2 days early and stayed with my sister. They ran out of fresh towels, never had housecleaning come to change the sheets, breakfast was chips and water in a bag, front desk was never available and above all we lost power in the whole buildin! Our room was on the 4th floor and we had to unload 2 adults and our 3 kids by stairs on the day we left. One other thing, my refund for checking out early was a mess, manager wasn't there in the morning and took a month to get back.

I stayed at this hotel a few times over the years when it was the Wingate. I remember the maintenance guy Kevin that kept the place spotless and the pool looking great. The front desk was run by Lena and her sister Maria. It was really nice here. "Was" being the key word. The pool area smells horrible now. The floors in the hallways were filthy. The front desk people were beyond unfriendly. There were trash bags in the hallway the entire stay. I paid $193 for a suite and it literally was just a regular room with a dirty couch. The TV in my "Suite" was a 19 inch TV. They said they serve breakfast like they did before... umm No!!! I knew the place was under new ownership and the name had changed to the Comfort in but didn't expect it to be this much of a disappointment. Don't waste your money here. Trust me.

Clean and generally good at masking and distancing. Patrons compliance was not consistent. Pool and exercise room closed due pandemic. Breakfast in a bag is available at the front desk.. There was some noise on the floor which appeared to be a nearby party which finally diminished and I was able to get to sleep. I would still return for future stays.

Front desk guy was so pleasant as well as the other staff. Great prices and the room was great. Nice and spacious. It was my first time staying there matter fact never heard of the hotel before that night but I'll definitely be back. Only thing that needs improvement was the hand sanitizer. They have it so high it shoots you directly in the eye
