We had gone back and forth with this joe and Erik. My financial woman though since we had it figured out with them they would be the homeowners for my new home. I had given them a check last September 26, 2016 for a year of renters insurance that we should had rolled into the previous owners insurance. I would had been grandfathered into their homeowners ar their price. Well they kept my money (Over a thousand dollars and didn't do their job.) The only way we found out was because the main company contacted me and said I had no insurance. My financial advisor got on the phone to find out what happened. Erik said we didn't sign the papers.. I am sure we did! those papers were signed at Western here in Lincoln City Oregon . We went through paper by paper and what it was for.. Their giving my money back in a month after having it for 9 months. I would think since they took it they would give it back immediately. I should ask for interest on the money... really! Why didn't they follow up on something so important as homeowners with flood? You forced us into having to get a higher policy. Which cost me more money that I can't recoup. Try $100.00 more per mo.
