My wife and I have gone to Bernie's quite a few times since moving to the area - it's a spot we like to take visitors and friends to as well. I don't think we've had any negative experiences here outside of being turned away when they're at capacity which can definitely happen, so I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time if you're looking to dine-in. The good news is that warmer weather means more outdoor seating which means more overall capacity! The food has been consistently good each time we've visited, from happy hour snacks to brunch to dinner, everything always tastes freshly made. The atmosphere is also very nice, though again if it's a full dining room it can be a little loud. All in all, this is a great spot with a variety of food/drink options that should work for just about everyone!

We had a farewell lunch here. Staff was nice and food came out pretty quick. We had 16 people but, the table was way too small. We had to really squeeze each other. It was very hard to eat. I ordered Baby green salad with Salmon and roasted brussel sprouts. My salmon was too salty but, people enjoyed the food there. I would go back because, the place is nice. This time, I will try some other foods in the menu.

It took me 3 times to finally be able to eat at Bernie's and it was ok. First time I went right before 3p and was told they don't seat people between 3-4 since they are changing over, Second time there were too many large parties and they didn't have any more reservations, this Third time I got in but was almost turned away because there were more large parties and not enough staff....was told to eat at the bar if we wanted to stay. After seeing people being seated after we were told we couldn't be, we mentioned that and was able to get a table and be served by a very good waitress. I don't know if I have a desire to come back here anytime soon or at all, but it was nice to finally try the food.

I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy but nonetheless the service was great. The food was tasty and well priced. I ordered a side of sausage and the Big Guy which came with French toast, 1 pancake, bacon, eggs, and home fries. I love how crispy the home fries were and the portions of the sausages. They also serve alcohol! I highly recommend making a reservation before coming. Also the address on the site is wrong and the gps took me to a high school. The address on google is correct. It was inconvenient and annoying that the business website had the wrong address but thankfully I didn’t have to drive far to the correct address.

It was my first time there. Avery body was wearing a mask that works there. I was 6ft from other people. I felt safe. I will go back again.
Not to my knowledge, the design of the restaurant doesn't allow for closed off areas. I think you would be better at the Keswick Tavern, they do have a private room
I think they have some option or at least make substitutions to create one to order.
