We ordered the oxtails with rice and peas with oxtail gravy and I ordered the pork over rice and peas with chicken gravy. Both orders were delicious and plentiful.

Great food, great service! Love the passionfruit drink, refreshing and delicious. i got the arroz amarillo + pechuga salteada and last time I was here got the bistec en salsa and it was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Freddy’s food is always hot, ready and tasty, I will definitely be returning to this one!

This food is absolutely worth the 30 minute drive we took to get here. They have a variety of traditional Spanish foods like pork, chicken, beef, fish, rice, bread, desserts, and drinks. You cannot go wrong with any of their options as they are all very good. We got these two massive trays of food for basically pennies. Reminds me of food from Plainfield. As of the time of this review, they only take cash and although they have parking in front of their establishment, it doesn't accommodate a lot of cars so you may have to park nearby on the street. Don't be afraid to stop in even if you don't speak Spanish. The workers there can speak English and will hook you up.

All I can say is.... are you kidding me??? How did I not hear of this place before tonight? The food was DEEEE-LISH-USH!!! HUGE portions and very clean establishment. Service was wonderful. I will always keep this place as one of my favorite places to eat. I wanted the stewed chicken with rice and peas. They were out of stewed chicken so I had to "settle" for the baked chicken. Boy!! When I tell you I'm glad they were out of it.... so tender and full of flavor. I will be going back.
