Beware: VCA Rock Creek Animal Hospital is seriously overwhelmed. My cat has been licking his hind leg and limping, progressively less active and now unable to jump onto things. I was finally able to get him to let me have a look at his leg and discovered a large lump that is painful. I pay $75 a month for VCA’s CareClub and I learned when I called this morning that it’s useless because they are so overwhelmed. I was told there are no urgent care openings, to call back every morning at 6:30 weekdays/7:30 weekends, and the first appointment available isn’t until October. What a ripoff. CareClub is supposed to give me access when I need it — and my cat needs care NOW. Whatever you do, do not get CareClub and do not establish care at VCA. They have taken on too many animals, and can’t provide timely care that meets the needs of their clients. Updated to add: They called and got him in on cancellation. My comments acknowledge the industry issue, but when you take $75 a month for a plan that includes urgent care access, and can’t deliver on it, it’s questionable as to whether or not the fee is fair. The care here is GREAT when you can get in.

NO CUSTOMER service. 1st call for same day urgent care 6/4 730am. Dana put me on hold to put ringing call on hold. 10+ minutes later she got back to me saying only appt left for that day was 5pm. So they answered and serviced calls that came while I was on hold and gave them first choice at appts for that day. DO NOT rely on these people to take seriously your furbabies illnesses as you are just a ringing phone to them.

I have been nothing but happy with this veterinarian hospital! It's less like a clinic and more like a caring hospital for your pet. We unexpectedly found our sweet girl had passed during the night. They were so compassionate and professional to help my husband and I with the passing of our dog! When we had arrived they helped get her into the office, all the paperwork was ready for us to help make a difficult time a bit easier. The tech pet her like she was her own. It truly helped us leave her body knowing that she was in kind hands. They went above and beyond to wash our blankets we brought her in with and returned them to us. Thank you VCA! You all ROCK at the Rock Creek Hospital!!!

I absolutely recommend Sophia as a groomer! I had a hard time finding anyone who grooms cats & accepts new clients. Not only did VCA get us in, but they did it pretty quickly too. Prices were more affordable than I thought with a Vca. The real star was Sophia though, my girl wasn't grumpy when I picked her up and Sophia was kind enough to answer questions and give advice that was much needed to keep my kitty happy and looking gorgeous! We will definitely be back regularly! She smells and feels amazing!
