I don't understand why I'm being asked this here. I wrote a long review under "things I liked about the hotel". Read that other page about pros for this hotel. But in short, much better than expected. Very nice and clean. Spacious room. Plenty of amenities nearby. No musty or smoke smells. Sheets and blankets were clean and the blankets were actually thick enough to keep me warm.

We booked a room under the app. I admit my fault for not reading it was a smoking room. Booked king bed room. The front staff young lady was very nice ! Went to open the room it was a smoking room but oh my gosh the room smelled like the beyond bad ash tray smoke! The linen had burn cigarette holes, the yellow dingy pillow cases and the towels. My husband past smoker stated it was so bad . Apparently it was booked so no alternative room. The shower was just disgusting too. The young lady did provide us with a disinfectant spray. But honestly did not work. So, we decided our loss of $96.00 but we couldn’t stay. My husband said that our clothing smelled like smoke just the 15min we were there . Maybe okay for someone else. But we couldn’t. We booked with another hotel near Harrisburg . Just wanted to pass that information along. Please don’t make the same mistake as I did. Please make sure it is not a smoking room. I truly cannot give a review of a regular room though. Again , staff was super friendly and she tried by giving us disinfectant. Was very happy with staff. There is a bar /grills next door good food a little expensive. There is another restaurant down the street and some gas stations as well. Grocery store not to far . Thank you!

I've stayed here several times a year for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't the place. It is basic but clean, well managed and centrally located. I consider it to be a great value for the price and look forward to my next visit (already booked). If you are an auto race fan, craft brewery fan or in the area for vacation attractions this is a great place. I've recommended it to many people over the years and continue to do so.
