I just want to know who thought it would be a grand idea to have a rooster here. Nothing like being woken up at 0430 every morning due to a rooster.

The road getting there wasn't great but the campground was totally worth it. Very nice n clean. It was Oct so they had a german festival. Small but fun. Free lunch was provided. Was a very nice family friendly place

I want to start by praising the entirety of the staff here. Throughout both booking and our stay they were fantastic. Office staff, cleaning staff, wood delivery, everyone I interacted with was pleasant and helpful. Everything here seemed clean and well cared for, which was great. They had events going on during the weekend such as a live band, chainsaw carving, farmers market, bingo, and more. It is also a beautiful space, very nice to walk around. Two primary cons: the roosters wake you up at 4-4:30 in the morning. This was pretty miserable as a light sleeper. We booked the BR group site because it looked (and we were told it was) secluded. The map is a bit misleading. We had the house, RVs, and other camp sites basically right on top of us. Nonetheless, the site accommodated our group and was very nice. I probably would not bring our group back here but I would 100% bring my family to camp here in the future. Very pleasant campground with top notch staff.

What a beautiful campground very well kept and very friendly people. I wish they had more transient sites. A good bit of seasonal sites but all the seasonal people we met were very nice people. Really enjoyed our stayed and had a wonderful time. Really appreciate the rapid response of the text service. Keep up the great job you all should be proud of a great campground. The only thing I would say needs a update is the bathhouse was clean but dated. Can’t wait for our trip next year.

Seasonal sites are usually reserved at least a year in advance, and there's almost always a waiting list. Weekend sites are also pretty much reserved for this season, and they too are reserved at least a year in advance. If you're interested in reserving a site I'd suggest you call ahead for a weekend opening that doesn't fall any time around a holiday. Sometimes there are cancellations and you can get in. This is our 7th season. Jaron suggested our site after our tour of available sites, and we've been there ever since. We couldn't be happier with our site and with our choice of Cedar Lake. It might be a little frustrating to get a site, but once you do I'm sure you'll find it was worth the wait.
I just went to visit a friend
Per the website: Only self-propelled boats, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and electric trolling motors are allowed in the lake. All boaters are required to wear life jackets at all times. Boats cannot be left unattended at the lake.
I really don't know a lot about this camping resort but I do think they do and they also have a boat launch.
Trout, bass, perch, catfish.
