This place is disorganized. I wanted to sign-up for their "no sign-up fee" special but the computer system wouldn't let me finish the process. So, I gave them a call in the afternoon and got their voice mailbox. That's kinda lame. After hanging up and calling again the phone system offered to call me back when my place in line was up. Only problem was that I never got that callback. Later in the day I called again and got the voice mailbox again, so this time I left a message, asking for help. Never got a callback from that either. The next day I decided to email them explaining my problem. Again, haven't heard back from them. I can only imagine how much they must struggle with the rest of their responsibilities.

Absolutely love this gym. The instructors are amazing, employees are so helpful, and I love the snack bar/café they they have. Not to mention the heated pools, hot tubs, and clean lockers. The variety of classes itself makes the membership so worth it.
Pham Le Phu
The best gym I’ve been to. There are great classes offered by wonderfully instructors. Try the body combat classes or yoga or Zumba! There are 3 stair masters and plenty of cardio machines, rarely all taken even during busy times. Weight area can get a little busy.

No. Check website for any hours and classes offered.
Most likely not, they called us to trll our swimming lesson is rescheduled
Yes, there are a latge number of classes and programs for older adults. Masters swim, water aerobics, synchronized swimming for water sports. There is also basketball, pickleball, hiking.
It's about $64 per month
Don't think there's long course pools at any of the YMCAs in San Diego
This is the best YMCA they have senior women's basketball 50 and older so all you gals that used to play call the Y and find out about it it's been such a fun time we even have 80 and 90 year olds
Toby Wells has gymnastics
No, the locker rooms are still closed. There are cubbyholes at the pools to store things at the indoor pool.and a chair per lane to hold clothing at the outdoor pool. There are a few restrooms available for a quick change but no accompanying showers.
They are, you need to schedule s time at the YMCA site for Mission Valley. (I don't work there, just a member)
No it doesn't
Yes and no. If you sign up for a membership, all of January is free. So it's free with extra steps.
There's 3 private bathrooms with showers and lockroom with stalls
I think so
930 I believe, I would call them to get a faster response

Water exercise. I know they teach water aerobics which is high impact classes in the outdoor pool. Exercises are great full body workout good instructors, good music. They also teach inside but less impactful. Classes are great
9:30 pm M-Th, 8:30 pm Fridays.
Call them directly for accurate information.
If not you can usually go online to there website and find a list of activities they're having if you don't have the time to drop by you can put the name of the Y your seeking questions about or even give that one a call and they'll be more than happy to give you the class hours your looking for
Yes
Yes. I am not sure about the temperature but I have never felt any issue with temperature getting in/out the water.
In celebration of Labor Day, the YMCA is free and open to the community from 7:00am to 2:00pm, Monday, September 3.* Invite your friends and family to enjoy a refreshing swim, workout or fun group exercise class!
They grant two guest memberships per person per year, so get each one to host you two separate times and you might be able to visit either two or four times.
They do indeed also provide a discount for veterans, active military, and students.
There is already a nice park in the west side and the south side.
They have lots of classes for arthritis, specific yoga classes, water aerobics and sports teams such as basketball and pickleball. In addition, the Y brings in various speakers and arranges bus trips to a variety of locations including museums in LA. Plus there are frequent dances. Tons of offerings.
They do have a kids club with free babysitting.
Yes they are open from 7am until 11am open to the public!
I also wouldn't recommend it. As someone who frequents many Ys in the area, it's one of my pet peeves.
No, but the McKinney YMCA in La Jolla does! (Coed with windows to the pool deck)
gym area can get pretty busy
