Excellent Indian cuisine. I took my family there on my son's recommendation on the day he graduated from Penn State. Even though we didn't have a reservation we were seated promptly and the staff was very accommodating. The prices were very reasonable for a specialty buffet. Highly recommended.

India Pavilion is easily my favorite restaurant in downtown State College. They have a large menu with many options for authentic Indian dishes. They serve high quality chicken and flavorful dishes with options for spice level. Prices are excellent for the serving sizes. The service is always great as well.

I gave it 1 ⭐️ based on my order. We ordered chicken biryani and was far away from the Indian biryanis, rice was smushed and doesn’t look like basmati at all. The second order was chicken tikka masala and I can tell it was one of the worst chicken tikka masala I’ve ever tried! Couldn’t eat it as the chicken was tough and chewy. The good thing is that they’re understanding and they took the biryani off and replaced the tikka masala anyway didn’t like it but had to finish it. I’ve tried so many Indian restaurants but will never come back to this one.

Best Indian food I’ve had. Every dish has its character and I was able to taste a lot of authentic dishes I only watched about on YouTube
