Never thought to associate New York with fried chicken. Also have been to two other locations and the chicken sucked at both of those spots.....cooked well, juicy and hot...but ZERO flavor. THIS location is perfect. Hot, juicy, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The collard greens are phenomenal, almost as good as my grandmother's (who sadly just passed away) just add a touch of apple cider vinegar ! It's not necessary, but I've always added a bit of ACV to my collards even when my grandmother made them. The macaroni and cheese was average as were the mashed potatoes and gravy, the gravy had an odd flavor but nothing was horrible. I knocked one star for the 2 average-at-best sides, but the chicken is PERFECT at this particular location. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had !
