7-11-22 Worst Applebees experience I’ve ever had. Drove through town, place was about half empty. My friend and I ordered the Pick 2 with the steak, chicken tender Mac and cheese, and spinach artichoke dip. We waited almost an hour and the Spinach dip never arrived. Waitress never visited our table. Our dinner arrived and the steak wasn’t medium rare, it was far beyond well done. The kitchen also forgot to swap the broccoli for potatoes. The Mac and Cheese didn’t taste cheesy at all. Waitress never followed up with us and after multiple attempts to flag her down, we had to ask a different waitress to get her so we could get our bill and leave. Terrible experience and I would recommend avoiding this location like the plague.

The food was really good, ribeye.steak and broccoli cooked perfectly which, together with Applebee's signature garlic mashed potatoes, breadsticks, and a desert of a maple pecan blondie a la mode, made the meal superb. The Wait Service was personable and fairly attentive, but the drinks took quite some time to arrive, showing up after the food despite being ordered prior to the meal. All in all, this was a good experience, with only minor issues detracting from a perfect 4-star rating. Recommended!

Service was slow ... but friendly ..... the Rib eye was ok ... little tough. No little bread loaves ....no baked potato ... really ????. no salad with the meal unless order extra .... the potatoes were cold as ice ... the Mac & cheese was hot on one side and cold on the other .... microwaved for sure .... never got a refill on my drink ..... been 4 or 5 year since we've been there ... and now I remember why .... will not be going back ... . Told the girl at front what happened ... she said she'd tell the manager .... who know's if that happened .... but No offer to remedy anything .... Clinton needs a real steak house ... . We won't be going back to Applebee's ever ..... way over priced for what you get. ....

I'm sure Clinton, MO is a wonderful city to visit, but if you really want to experience what's lacking in most anywhere USA... experience the SERVICE at Applebee's. I tried to place an order for delivery only to discover the friendly voice on the other end was, you guessed it, a call center. When I tried to confirm delivery was in fact an option, I was transferred to the local restaurant. If "Billy" isn't a store manager, he certainly should be! Billy took my order, fulfilled a drink request (not even listed online) AND went out of his way to deliver to the front desk of my hotel! Thank you, Billy! Applebee's Corp: Pay attention! This level of service is near impossible to find these days. Stop outsourcing every step of the process you can outsource and remember - people do business with PEOPLE.
