An excellent hacking trail for beginner hikers. The way down is pretty easy but be ready to sweat a little in your way back up. Once you get to the bottom where the actual spring can be found if you go left will be cooler and refreshing. If you got to the right and keep going for about five minutes you will find another big spring.

Absolutely breathtaking view of the Greer spring. After about a 3/4 mile hike through a fairly well maintained path you come to an overlook of the spring. From there you can continue down to the bank where you're in the middle of some of the most beautiful and peaceful settings Missouri has to offer. 100% worth the trip
