My husband and I stoped in at this Motel for the night as we were traveling through for work. For the most part everything seemed nice and clean when we first walked in. We hurried, dropped off our thing so we could go to supper before the restaurant closed for the night. When we got back to the room and showered, pulled back the blankets and found this. It looks as someone slept in this bed and the house keeper just remade the bed without changing the sheets. It was so late and I knew they would argue with us because we had already had the room for a couple hours. We slept on top of the blankets and brought ours in from the car. One other thing that was disappointing is they didn’t have a bath mat. With the tile floors, getting out of the shower wet was quite slippery. Oh the most important thing is the deadbolt lock doesn’t work. We had to wedge a chair under the handle.

This motel is disgusting. There is dirt in every crevice, air conditioning smells horrible, and outside our room is all kinds of trash. We had only two towels. There are flies everywhere. Toilets have build up where it hasn’t been cleaned good. The front desk does not care if you need anything, and definitely sucks at their job. They will be in their office, knowing you are in the fronit desk and calling them, but doesn’t care. You definitely are wasting your money on this nasty motel. You’d be better off sleeping in your vehicle or on rocks.

So I've stayed at this hotel several times and had always been very satisfied. My family and I visit this area a few times a year. One half of this hotel has been renovated and it's nice and clean. This trip I didn't get so lucky and got put on the not renovated side and that side is gross. The smell the moment you step inside is so gross it smells like mold and mildew badly. The carpet that I was told by staff had been replaced has definitely not been replaced probably ever it's nasty and stained. Also I killed 1 roach when I first got there. I hate it but I'm not ever gonna stay here again. This one bad experience has ruined it for me. To the people that own this hotel y'all should really consider renovating both sides because enough bad reviews will really start to impact your business if it hasn't already. I really hate this because I used to think it was the best in piedmont. I think next time I would rather camp outside at least there I could actually breath some fresh smelling clean air.
