The food is hearty, the portions are large, the appearance is weak. Visitors - people of advanced age. Here you can have a hearty meal, but enjoy the food - hardly.

Ordered the Southwestern Bowl for breakfast, which was good. My wife has the Philly Steak Omelet. We both enjoyed our entree, but the grits and pancake were cold, and my hash browns were too soft and not crispy. We were also charged for an extra side of toast we didn’t order ($2.49 or something like that). The service was great, and despite the restaurant being full with people waiting, they were keeping up with the pace. I’m sure under less stressful and busy circumstances, the food would have been a touch better.

I ordered the waffle plate. My medium eggs were cooked perfectly- white done, yellow runny. The bacon was thin, crisp, and full of flavor. The waffle was thin and crisp and tasted great with peanut butter and syrup. Great place for breakfast!

Place was very busy and well staffed. I ate a country fried steak platter and the food was very good. My companion ate breakfast items and was equally impressed They did. Have an employee have an angry outburst while we were there which involved throwing some dishes and cursing. The managers were able to move this person on to a non customer area and eliminated anymore disturbance. Wait staff was helpful and provided great service. Overall a pleasant visit.
