This course was amazing. I learned so much and feel confident going out and working as a phlebotomist. When they say 100% pass rate, they mean it. They really set you up for success.

Very good class an affordable!! Instructors were great! Wish we would of learned more of the things you need to know as a phlebotomist ( like the color of tubes and what they mean an so on ). The down side is my class didn’t have very many people wanting to get poked , an the last day we had our class everyone didn’t want to practice so they took their hands on test and left. Didn’t get very many pokes in so it’s been very difficult to find a job. Overall would recommend !

The instructor is very experienced and a well sized class. If you want good hands on training I recommend Texas phlebotomy school.

Kyle was our teacher for this class & he was great! He is very knowledgeable & personable & has a lot of hands on experience. I felt confident in my abilities after having him as my teacher. Thank you!

if you're looking at a program through a college or trade school they usually make you take college classes like biology or anatomy and make it a semester-long. There is no need to take college classes to be certified.
The class is a crash course in getting your Phlebotomy cert. My close associate recently completed there. She took the test online, and is having an interview with a plasma collection agency tomorrow actually. Truthfully, she's having difficulty finding work with JUST that course as experience. But there are many opportunities to get valuable experience around the metro area through a volunteer basis, like blood drives and the like. She got to poke 3 or 5 people in the actual class. The bookwork consisted of a little manual, about 50 pgs, and that's all the study material that's necessary to get certified. Her certificate arrived about 2 weeks following the exam. Overall, I'd say it's a good "in" to the healthcare field, but only if you're willing/able to get your experience elsewhere, i.e. volunteering. However, simply having the certification could prove valuable if you're already on the fringes of healthcare, like working as an in-home caregiver. Hope this helps.
Yes we are accredited. We do our national phlebotomy testing through the national phlebotomy certification testing NPCT and through the national healthcare association NHA.
No. There are three or four videos. Second day is hands on with a fake arm. Other students if they offer. Last day is review before mock practical with instructor.
National testing is online and its $35 per test. Meaning if you fail, you pay another 35 bucks
You can be 17 and take the class with a parental consent but yes you must have be 18 to get a job in the field and have a high school diploma or GED
