My wife and I were on our way home from a long day at a funeral in Fayette County. Both tired and hungry, didn’t want fast food but a good sit down meal. We have driven by this restaurant many times over the years decided to give it a try. Well, we were not disappointed! Wife had catfish and I had a ribeye. Both were cooked like we desired cordial waitresses despite being very busy, so happy we called family behind us and recommended them. They ordered ahead carry outs. Happy as well,needless to say we will be stopping in again on our next trip to West Tn….

The salt shakers were filthy and sticky. I asked a waitress if she could clean ours off because of this, and she simply went to another table, and gave us another one that was just a bit stickier than the one we gave her. So, I asked our waitress to just clean ours, and she went to the kitchen and wiped it off or gave us a cleaner one that was less sticky and dirty. Quite disappointing. Beyond that, we had a great waitress, great food, and super friendly staff (which was why I only took one star off, not more, to be honest).

My husband stopped in around 2 in the afternoon so the restaurant wasn’t busy. Service was very quick and friendly. The food was good and hot. My husband got the Open Face Beef plate. He commented that it was actual beef roast and not shaved freezer meat. Forgot to add that the salad bar was a pleasant surprise and had a great variety of items! Pleasant experience and very clean environment. We will be back if we ever make it to Adamsville.

GREAT PLACE TO EAT! Twelve of us were well served, wide variety, cheerful family atmosphere. The helpings were generous and the food is excellent!
