Been going to Boyette's since the 1970s. It's a classic, time stands still, and the food is the perfect representation of an old school catfish restaurant. The Reelfoot area today has really improved compared to the 80s and 90s when it was not in the best of shape. Boyette's has been the rock and a constant for the area, always worth a visit.

The food and service was incredible! The owner came around and gave the kids coins to ride the horse. I will go back next time we are in the area.

The service is pretty good. The food is okay. Everything is practically fried. If you're a vegan, they don't have any real options except salad. You might have to be a vegetarian for one meal while you visit here. If the restaurant could find a recipe online and make a vegan burger made with black beans and brown rice or sweet potatoes, that would be outstanding. Until then. Keep fishing.

We took a ride from Lauderdale County to try their fish. We were not disappointed. The catfish filets are fried & seasoned to perfection. The onion rings & hush puppies were great too. Was not a fan of the overly sweet slaw and weird tater sauce. The Bacon Cheeseburger was perfect and topped with fresh lettuce & tomato. All that came were happy 😀
