The Patuxent Lapidary Guild is the pre-eminent organization in Maryland for teaching the lapidary arts (gemstone cutting, carving and polishing) and jewelry design and making. The Guild teaches regular classes in jewelry arts, gemstone education and creation.

It's in a basement of a jewelry shop and you have to know where the entrance is.
