There is a boat launch and a few other things, but I go here for the free public archery range. They have a field with 10, 20, 30, and 40 yard targets. But if you go past those, there is a half mile loop trail through the woods with about 20 spots to peel off and shoot at more targets. Those targets off the trail are great on a hot sunny day since you can stay in the shade.

Beautiful park, very quiet and serene and the view of the lake is wonderful

This is a nice park the trees are pretty cool looking and the dam is nearby. There is a pair of horseshoe pits in the corner and plenty of seats and shelters that you can reserve if you want. The waterfront is edged in a cement sidewalk as opposed to a beach as there is no swimming allowed that close to the dam. The only down side is the industrial/work area off to the side of the park that the Corp of engineers operates. I find this park most enjoyable when the weather is warm/cool and overcast with a brisk breeze.

Beautiful park, with lots of wildlife and vegetation! I enjoy hiking around this area a lot!

Thank u
Yes, but there does tend to be heavy boat traffic at times.
I have never seen anything but road and archery target trails. Drake's Creek has them.
They close around 10. They aren't 24 hours. Please don't stay any longer. But it's a wonderful place. I had my wedding ceremony there.
You can but you'll loose your hunting license, rifle and probably get 11, 29 in the pokey.
