They never deliver to apartments. They drive up, see that they need a door code and mark the package DELAYED. They literally do not approach the apartment door to even check if it’s open. They don’t even try to get in touch with the recipient and I am always home and have provided my phone number repeatedly. I have used multiple delivery carriers and have had zero trouble, FEDEX is the exception. You might as well travel to wherever your package is coming from and pick it up yourself. Don’t use them. Simple.

So the center is no where near my house which would have been fine. When you factor in the fact that the drivers "attempted" 3 deliveries (which is a lie I was home all 3 times and even gave directions stating how to get to the buzzer for the building. If you don't get out of your truck and even ring the buzzer you did not make an attempt and there is a Walgreens 3 blocks away so not knowing the area also bs) when I got there they had someone training. No problem. Yet the EXPERIENCED employee starts trying to check people through on the computer with my file up and the lady still had my id. Amateur hour. I would rather wait 3 weeks and deal with the USPS then ever deal with FedEx again. The agent at the call center and the young lady training were the only two that conducted themselves in a manner of professionalism. All the rest, I don't think numbers would suffer if there were a change.

I paid for overnight shipping for a phone that a person has to be present to receive. The tracking said they’d deliver by 10:30am on Friday April 1st. I’m due to work at 10:00am. I decided to wait for the package but no one came at 10:30am. At 11:46am, the tracking updated to “Address Cannot Be Found.” No attempt was made Saturday April 2nd or Sunday April 3rd. On Monday April 4th, the tracking updates to be delivered between 9am-12pm. I was up since 7am. By 10:04am they leave a notice “Customer not available at business” so I go to check outside after noon to see the door tag left on my paper. They didn’t call me. They didn’t use the call box. They made NO ATTEMPT to deliver. Now I have to walk half a mile to take a bus to the distribution center to pick it up even though I paid, on Thursday, for next day delivery. It’s funny how my address wasn’t found on Friday but it could be found on Monday but they just decided no one was there. I will never shop at any business that uses FedEx.

Driver from this shipping center left without entering the building two days in a row with a "sign for delivery" package to an apartment complex and on the third day they left a "we missed you" note in the mail room without even looking for the apartment. I saw the truck leaving and tried to catch up because I need the package and he just ignored me. There would have been no way for me to get this package delivered without literally just waiting on the sidewalk in front of my building for hours. I dont know why yall hire such lazy drivers but I've stopped ordering from places that use FedEx and encouraged them to switch services.

If you have a tracking number you can go online and ask for it to be held at the station, then pick it up during their business hours. If it is already on the delivery vehicle you will have to wait till it gets back to the building.
Call in, and provide tracking #. Once you get to prompt menu say, "Representative" an tou will get a live person.
FedEx Express is Closed. FedEx Ground is Open and delivers.
