Love the atmosphere and the sleigh ride up the mountain. It’s very romantic. We’ve been going to Zach’s for years and this time was disappointing. The server was lovely and attentive and the bartender did an excellent job with unusual drink requests. The duck was delicious, but unfortunately,, the elk was bland and the “meat” fondue had very little meat. The most disappointing part was the sommelier who was more interested in talking about himself instead of the wine which resulted in two bottles that weren’t what we were looking for. We’ll be scratching Zach’s off the list which is sad because we loved it there.

I love coming to Zach’s cabin. There’s nothing like stopping in for lunch at an upscale cozy cabin mid slope when you’ve been carving the mountain all morning. Great wine list, beer list usually has a well rated local IPA on draft, gourmet burgers, crispy fries, fresh salads, even lobster and vegetarian items. Tables surround an oversized two way stone fireplace. Drop your boots and coat off in the locker and slide on fuzzy slippers provided for extra comfort. Members only during lunch. Open to all for dinner.
