Beautiful, with mountain bluff and the Rio Grand river running through. You can reserve. But we didn't and got a spot about 5pm on Friday. There were only two sites left, end of August. Very easy access. Highway nearby but no noise for sleeping. It's just south of the quaint town of Crede, CO. $12 with Senior park pass.

It's a nice park right on the river. Arrived on Thursday, looking for a space. Space 6 said empty, the people from there checked out a day before. Took the spot paid by the kiosk. An hour later someone is coming and telling me it's their spot. I said there were no signs. She said she reserved. She showed me online proof. Park host is gone. Luckily there were still two empty spaces in the park so i took another. Park hosts should be putting out clear signs for reserved sites. Also there are lots of mice and chipmunks. They can move into your RV. I had a mouse in my bay. Just be ready with traps.

We loved this quick stopover and got a site right on the river! Plenty of space, easy in and out. No services but vault toilet and potable water source. Camp hosts Rod and Cindy were very nice and helpful! PipesTraveler.com

We used to go camping here all the time when I was a kid. It's a beautiful secluded little spot with spacious campgrounds for RVs and trailers. They have bathrooms on-site. They also USED to have this amazing well in the center of the campsite that literally had the best, sweetest tasting water I've ever had. You think water tastes like water? Wrong. This Creede water was amazing. Sadly, last time I went, the well had been turned off or was closed.
