Were right next to a busy road, so lots of rd notice but you can't beat $10/ night for water, elec with a dump also free (you do not have to camp to use the dump). Cute old downtown. Only 10 spaces total (1 being handicapped which is wider) nice park about a city block in size, grass, & playground in great shape.

Loved this place. Shows pride in the city. Somebody put some thought into making it easy for people to park with trailering rigs. Very clean and after 10, it got quiet. Had a good sleep for our next day's long journey.

Great small town campsite. $10 - 9 sites. Good place to stay when you're driving through. Country Market nearby. Outstanding German restaurant downtown. McDonald's is not far. This is one of the nicest things I've seen a small town do in Illinois ++++++++

Bathrooms are supposed to be open April 1st. Sign up saying because of Covid no bathrooms. Well who wants to bring there kids or family to a park when there is no bathroom to use & everyone eventually goes every day at different times. So no bathrooms available means you have to leave and hope you make it somewhere else to use a bathroom. Bathrooms are a Must no matter what or where. I don't care if there is "Covid" or anything else. When you gotta go you gotta go. Sometimes people go and "make" a bathroom because they know they wont make it back home or anywhere else and that's just kinda yucky but what do you do. Any ways this is a bad thing with parks or anywhere and bathrooms being unavailable.

When we were there a couple of weeks ago showers were closed, water & elec on and cooking dump. First come first served, self register
The rate is 10 dollars / night paid at the police station in town. There 30 and 50 amp outlets , water hook-up and a dump station.
