Always friendly and knowledgeable. I had a negative situation with another tile shop location, called the Lake Zurich ( where the original purchase was made). Dan told me to come on over and he would take care of it, the other store made me go out of my way instead of just taking care of the very small problem I had. Lake Zurich is out of my way but Ill continue to shop here and skip over the new location that opened closer to me. I appreciate it!

Ordered samples online because there weren’t many options in store. None of the samples in my online order were labeled so I had to go back to the store just so that Kristin Uselton (manager) could tell me the name of the sample I picked for my project. Ordered more of that sample tile with Kristin same day and was told a pickup date of the following Monday. I went to pick them up Monday and another employee told me they were delayed and to come back next day. When final tile order came in, I called ahead that morning to ensure the pickup date was accurate, and Kristin told me I could pull in back of shop and they will load it for me. I pulled in at the time I stated I would be there (4:30/4:45pm) and the employee from front desk seemed to have no idea what I was doing in the back and was rude. Warehouse employees were apologetic and friendly to me and helped me track down my order as they did not seem to know I was coming in to pick it up. Went to store to return unused pieces once project was done and was told by Laura Schultz that they don’t take returns on partial boxes (my box is mostly full). She was rude and unprofessional towards me. She told me the manager would contact me Thursday as she would not help me despite the info I gave her that I was told by an employee when I placed the order via phone that I could return any unused tile. It turns out that Laura was the employee who took my phone order. I specifically recall that we discussed the square footage per box and I rounded up my order by an additional box because I was told I could return any unused tiles. The only reason I ordered this much tile was based on what she told me. If I couldn’t return a partial box I would have ordered single pieces rather than a whole extra box. She also told me I would get an emailed receipt and took my email. I never got an emailed receipt and had to call store to get one from Kristin. In completing my project I made sure to use all chipped and damaged pieces first since we were doing cuts and to ensure any returns I had were full undamaged pieces. The manager never contacted me to follow up despite being told that she would by Laura. I feel taken advantage of. I spent over $600 on my order (kitchen backsplash) and a lot of my time was wasted on unnecessary trips to the store when I could have completed the orders online during a PANDEMIC. The company is wasteful if they don’t take returns on unused undamaged tiles. The tiles can obviously be repackaged or used as floor samples which from my experience they need more of since they didn’t have any when I was there. The company does not value health and safety based on all the unnecessary trips I was forced to make. I am extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with the customer service at this store. I would not recommend. Had the manager bothered to contact me to work on a resolution, I may not have written a review. However, that was the last straw with all of the other issues I've dealt with in trying to complete my project.

We purchased the tile for our backsplash from The Tile Shop in Laze Zurich. I think the decision was every bit as challenging as the countertops themselves. We worked with DAN who I think said has worked at this location for over 10 years. Dan showed us a couple of displays and a tile he suggested based on our new countertop and his experience. It was very different than what we thought would look good. The tiles were larger and the color was a bit different. Today, that's what's in our kitchen. Honestly, it's a 10 out of 10 and perfectly complimented everything else in the kitchen - not just countertops! The tile size he suggested we never would have thought to use - but he was right and it looks awesome in the space. Thanks, Dan!

Needed to replace my tub with a shower but didn't have enough tile. Dan Cash from The Tile Shop helped me find the tile that would best fit the design I wanted. Dan showed me lots of ideas I had never considered. I would definitely be coming back here if I have another tile project.
