Went to the coach outlet to buy a new handbag. At the register, when it was time to pay the lady Laurie, canceled my transaction until she was able to see my ID. I showed my ID and purchased my bag. The white lady next to me wasnt asked for ID because I asked her. I had dinner reservations at Stix so I had to hurry out and didnt have time to hear the fake excuses as to why I was being asked for ID. And other non black customers werent. I returned after dinner and I observed several other customers in line making purchases of more value than my purchase but not being asked to show ID. When their credit card was used. I asked for a manager, she gave a fake excuse. Told me the store managers name was Lindsey but provided me a 800 number to customer service. Coach outlet in Kansas City staff treated me poorly and less than because I was black. They discriminated against me. Never have I ever experienced that at any other coach outlet. Ive been to many all over the nation.

I would not recommend this outlet store solely based on the service. Not welcomed upon entering and not approached by an employee for around 10 minutes although two employees were at the counter. The security guard came to the door and watched us as we shopped.

I love this store! ALL staff is available to answer questions and help the customers find what they're looking for. However, my favorite person there... Rosie! My Twin and I visit coach every year for our birthday, and every year I seek out the help of Rosie! This time we hugged! 3rd year, she's the reason I go back. We see her 1x a year, but she remembers us and greets with huge smile. I can get my things at the outlet online, but then, I wouldn't get to see my favorite Coach staff.

The Hispanic woman was extremely racist following me and my friend around the store. We weren’t able to really look because every few seconds she was following us and asking if we needed something as if there wasn’t a police man at the door. There were two white women and a black woman minding their business but she made it her mission to make us uncomfortable. Who in their right mind is stealing and going to jail over $100 bag??? I’ve bought multiple bags from average to high end designers and never been treated so poorly.

Lots of leather.
Store staff likely does not monitor this forum and I suggest you call or drop by the store.
