I’ve been here before, and they installed a headlight for free when I popped in without an appointment. But I will never go back. Took our car (34k miles) to them for some transmission problem, and after a $500 diagnosis, they said we need a brand new transmission, and they would get started right away for $10k (but the ONLY one left was in Denver and would take 2 weeks). We instructed them to put in new transmission fluid first, per suggested of a friend/mechanic. 3 days later (and $1100), our car runs fine. Talked to a transmission specialist, and he said that if the transmission truly needed to be replaced, putting in more fluid wouldn’t have done anything. Side note: you can get a new transmission for my car at Auto Zone for $2500… Warning to folks, they will rip you off!!! Edit: a couple months later and our car started having the same problem. A transmission specialist confirmed the need for a new transmission, however did quote us almost 50% less than Car Smart. Editing stars to 3.

I bought my jeep recently and brought it in to car smart to get the steering and transmission looked at as well as a pinion seal. They found answers I was looking for with the trans, fixed the steering, and the rear pinion seal. And while it was a little more expensive than I anticipated, their work is solid and I'm very happy. My 96 jeep GC drives great now. Thanks guys

The service manager Travis is friendly and professional. The lobby is clean with a nice coffee bar and a clean restroom! They did a great job on my and got the service done quickly. Highly recommend and will use them again if needed!

The techs are Car Smart are awesome. They kept in touch with me through the process after our Mini Cooper had the check engine light come on. They were easy to work with and commutative. I trust them with our business fleet as well as my personal cars.
