This is a tremendously tasteful, beautifully curated shop that keeps all sorts of lovely things brought in from Japan, perfectly fit for any sort of gift-giving, housewarming, or just something for your home. They have little plants, handmade jewelry, art, tea and teaware, incense, dinnerware, kitchenware, some leather goods and stationery, and other home decor. I finally managed to get in at a time that wasn't during my work hours and am so glad I did. The shopkeeper is warm and kind and I look forward to continue supporting this small business that Little Italy is so lucky to have in its neighborhood.

This is easily the most unique and beautiful gift shop in San Diego. There's something for everyone. Taka the owner is very hospitable and makes many items himself. From japanese tableware to unique bonsai and plants!
