Service was awesome! Our server was new but was spot on for everything. She knew the menu, she understand our concerns and provided great service. The food was mediocre at best. Very bland, with small portions. It was almost like everything was mass made and bought from the store. The pot pie was tiny. Almost snack size (smaller than a coffee cup saucer) with crust only on top. I am sure they have buckets of apples in the back that they give out. Don’t go for the food. Go for the service and atmosphere.

No one can top their baked potato soup, with green onions, and shredded cheddar. Their deep fried mushrooms are the best that we have ever had! They were large, and the batter was light, and crunchy! I had the BLT Salad, with Romaine, cherry tomatoes, and lots of crumbled bacon: absolutely delicious! Friends had the French Onion soup, and the largest plate of onion hay straws that I have ever seen. The guys each had a smoked barbecue sampler platter, and we had the rest of ours for lunch the following day. The last plate was tenderloin tips and mushrooms over noodles, which looked delicious!

Amazing fish fry. We went on a date night here while the baby spent time with grandma and it was such a good time. Server was so great and unlimited all you can eat fish with tons of sides.

Always a good meal here. This trip, I went for the Smoked Prime Rib, served on Saturdays only. As a Texan that eats prime rib on the regular, I give this one an A-. It was very well executed and tasty. 14oz was a nice size for my big appetite. It was definitely juicy and cooked perfectly medium as I ordered . I didn’t say A+ because I never got a “smoked” flavor when eating it. Could be the mild smoke from the local trees or charcoal but the steak was certainly good enough to come back for. Garlic mash potatoes and vegetables made a good pairing. As always the French Onion Soup was a good choice. I finished up with the Banana Cream Pie and it was very good as well. A bit too much cream for me but that’s a personal choice. Very good meal.
