I never been to an eye doctor before and right when we walked in the receptionist was very welcoming and sweet. I saw Dr. Rasmussen and he was extremely nice and actually listened to everything I had to tell him and even asked if I had any questions for him after and I loved that. He also knew the lights were so sensitive on my eyes and he kept the lights off the entire time to help. It shows they really actually care about their patients . I will definitely be going back there and recommending them to anyone I know looking for an eye Dr. I also live about 30min away and it is so worth the drive to Stanwood. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind and welcoming as I was so nervous from the start and they all made me feel so comfortable. Very nice atmosphere all together.

Had cataract surgery on both eyes. All people involved were friendly, caring, informed, and professional. The procedures were efficient, quick, and effective. The recoveries were easy and relatively carefree. My only complaint is the period between the 2 surgeries, when your eyes are out of sync, but, that is the nature of the beast. I highly recommend CASCADIA Eye.

The atmosphere there is very pleasant it does not feel like a doctor's office until you get to the exam rooms. It has a farmhouse feel and decor. I like so much I now travel to Stanwood instead of the Mount Vernon or Sedro Wooly offices'. Sam

I trust in the clinical care provided at Cascadia Eye in Stanwood. The doctors are knowledgeable and personable. Helpful staff and lots of eye glasswear to choose from.

All of our doctors are contracted with the Medicare program and we accept Medicare's allowed amount as payment in full. Medicare will pay 80% of their allowed amount and, if you have a supplemental insurance, they pay the other 20% (unless your deductible isn't met). Please know that Medicare does not cover ROUTINE/WELL eye exams (but most seniors do have medical problems such as cataracts, dry eyes and the like so their eye exams are usually covered). There is a portion of all eye exams that, even when medical, Medicare (and supplement) will not pay as they delineate it as "routine". This is the diagnostic test which results in your glasses prescription. This test, called a refraction, is needed even if you are not looking to update glasses, but, unfortunately, Medicare will not pay that part no matter how much we argue that point. The charge for it is $40. I realize this is a long-winded answer, but I wanted to be clear! Have a wonderful weekend.
I'm so glad you got the service you needed!
