Festival Of Balloons

Whoever Melissa was, I am to assume she was someone important, rather it be the main coordinator or supervisor of the event..she was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. My interaction with her was uncomfortable. She was extremely rude and snotty when I ask a simple question about parking.. sped around on a golf cart with a sign taped to the front titling herself “Queen Melissa” I was there for all three days and multiple times I witnessed her being very rude to other guests. At one point while I was sitting having a rest her and her (I assume daughter) were very loudly bad mouthing guests. Her daughter was extremely vulgar and cursing within earshot of my children. She was Just an unpleasant woman and I would avoid any events ran by her in the future. Witnessing the way she spoke to guests including myself left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I pay money to come and experience and family friendly fun atmosphere. If you want to vent about the guests who paid to attend this event then you should do it in private. She very much reminded me of Abby from Dance moms.

We are very disappointed. My autistic son waited 2 months to go to the balloon festival. We paid $12/person and $10 for parking and drove from Spokane Washington. They got up early with the hopes of getting a tethered balloon ride early Sunday morning and there wasn't a single balloon in sight. There weren't even any inflated on display for my son to view. What a rip-off.

Disappointed, my family came on Sunday, my Mom wanted to see the balloons, but came too late. You have to be there at like 6 o-clock to see the balloons. Like really? That early just to see the balloons. If they call it "Festival of Balloons" there should be balloons right there! Funtastic rides is too overpriced and the good thing was the car show.

Watching the balloons launch was beautiful. The festival itself was a little "underwhelming." Excellently planned with great parking.
