As new residents of the neighborhood, we made an appointment to pick up our new library cards. We and our son's dog Cleo got a warm welcome from the staff. What a beautiful library and what friendly people. I can't wait until Covid is over to explore the shelves.

It takes FOREVER to get a book requested from another branch to Check-in at Hollywood Branch. The last straw was when my item was intransit for a week and a half. I have changed my preferred library branch to Gregory Heights. While they are a smaller branch, they get items checked in quickly and on the patron's hold shelf and the patron part of the library is much, much roomier than Hollywood's.

On the other hand, I don't usually have a problem parking within 1-2 blocks of the library and I go there frequently. Compared to other parts of town I'd say it's pretty easy.

Yes, but limited. Usually not a problem finding a space. There's also free 2 hour street parking.

Yes you can return them to any Multnomah county library
You can use a computer to type a letter. And there are printers too.
