This is a great Port of entry going to or from Canada. They've always been very polite and nice. There's not a long wait. The hours are not what they say on the website I think they close at 3:00 or 4:00 for coming back into the US in the afternoon and open up at 8:00 they do this because of the covid right now so allow yourself to be on time coming or going but if you miss that time window there is another border crossing close to that

Never a problem here. The post is rarely busy and the US officers do their job efficiently. Even got helped out once when the car had a starting problem.

This was by far my worst experience crossing over the border. I have crossed many times, enough that I have a Nexus card, yet I was harassed and threatened by the border agents. I presented my Nexus and LPR cards as I have always done, and without even checking my history or data, the border agent threatened to take away both my identifications if they found anything in my car. I patiently told her that she would nothing, as I am perfectly of the laws that are required to be uphold when in ownership of these cards. She then proceeded to again tell me that I would have my cards removed, and pointed out (even though I had non-Nexus owning passengers) that there was no Nexus lane at this border crossing, so she would be searching our vehicle and taking away my Nexus and LPR cards if anything was found. We did nothing to deserve this treatment, and it was extremely rude and unfair to be threatened before our car had been searched or our IDs checked. I will be avoiding this crossing due to the blatant disrespect I received from the border agents.

Canada still requires proof of vaccination and a Neg pcr test within 48 hours
Yes it's currently open for the us to go into Canada. But it's going to open for Canadian and Mexican borders on November 8th. You have to have a negative covid test 72 hours prior to entry. With that said you have to make sure you arrive within that 72 hours because if your test expires after 72 hours you will not be allowed to come in. And they do not take the rapid one hour test.
You'll have to travel to either the Eastport or Paterson crossings as they operate 24/7. When the border crossing closes it gets locked down.
