Sea Trail - Maples Clubhouse

The Maples course was in rough shape and looks as though its on the verge of closing. Fairways were weedy, greens were shaggy, cart path needs replacing, and the clubhouse was a ghost town.

Horrible golf course. Greens and fairways were a mess. Tee boxes were overgrown. No cart driving around to buy cold drinks from. NO FOOD in the clubhouse. For the same price play Sandpiper Bay. It’s in excellent shape and they take care of the customer.

Classic Dan Maples design. Plays fair with challenges, for all levels of golfers. #15 with a bunker running along 3/4 length of fairway is picturesque, as long as you stay in the fairway. Most fun of the Sea Trail courses.

It was a very nice course. Good water. Slightly challenging for a mid/high handicapper. Bunkers were nice and play was fair. No water on course no ball washers or it would have gotten 4 stars. I recommend playing here and will be back.
