It was our first time to visit. It was a wait but that was to be expected on a Friday night at 7:00 pm during peak tourist season, only about 15 mintues for the 2 of us. I got grilled Maha and my wife got Stuffed Flounder. Both meals were quick, fresh and hot. Both were very good. I would recommend this restaurant and would put it on my return to list. The setting inside an old church help add to the experience.

Absolutely wonderful! Food is delicious & staff are great. We thoroughly enjoyed out entire dining experience. So many awesome dishes to choose from, you can't go wrong no matter what you order

I have eaten at the Deck House multiple times. Most every time has been a pleasant experience. I took my staff there for our Christmas party. We immediately walk in and get sat right away. We had a great waiter and I am sad to say I didn’t catch his name. As our salads, dinner, and desserts were being brought to us, I could not help but to notice all of the young adults talking loudly, kissing, acting immature, and continuously walking around, in and out of the kitchen, and behind the hostess stand. Yes, I am talking about the young staff that were clearly being unprofessional. The young girl that was being the hostess was kissing a guy behind the hostess stand and was continuing to cut up as if they were at there hang out joint. I came to one of the nicest places in Carolina Beach for dinner and see this the whole time? It may be off season, good help may be hard to find, but take your immaturity elsewhere. Food was good, not great. Maybe just an off night in general. I will go back. Just hope for a better experience.

We were disappointed. The flavor of the food seemed non existent. We had grilled shrimp, the tuna, and salmon. The guy brought our food and dropped a whole cup of cocktail sauce which covered my arm and shirt. Not an apology, not a visit from the manager. Just overall not a good visit. We will not go back. I'm sure other people have a great time, not us. Way too much money for food that wasn't good.
